VIRTUALTrainer Session

The VIRTUALTrainer is a state of the art virtual driver interaction system used to help teens develop their driving skills in a safe, controlled atmosphere. The simulator places teens in real life situations without the danger of being in live traffic. This helps to build confidence in young drivers while giving them valuable experience that will translate on the road. Furthermore, the VIRTUALTrainer will constantly reinforce safe driving habits.

Each lesson will include an introduction followed by an extensive practice session and an evaluation session that will give young drivers tips on what to work on. The virtual driving course covers many real life scenarios including getting ready to drive, developing visual processes and searching skills, searching for signs, signals and markings, executing effective speed and position adjustments, managing intersections, managing curves and hills, managing time and space intervals, responding to vehicle failures and lastly assessing driver performance and awareness.
